| 9/23/09 - AirTight Networks announced that
its unique SaaS broadband wireless intrusion prevention system (WIPS) is now fully
integrated into the QualysGuard PCI Connect launched earlier this year.
PCI Connect provides an on demand platform bringing together multiple
security solutions into one unified end-to-end business application for PCI DSS compliance and
validation. AirTight is the first and only wireless security vendor to
provide an automated, cost effective means to meet the PCI DSS wireless
scanning requirement with lower operational costs and no capital
investment.
Qualys customers who need a cost effective and efficient way to comply with
the PCI DSS Wireless Security Guideline can now access AirTight's
SpectraGuard® Online automated wireless PCI compliance reports and upload
them directly from their Self Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) within the
QualysGuard PCI Connect interface.
SpectraGuard Online is a modular hosted service which uses
the same AirTight award-winning, patented, multi-tenant architecture, plug
and play sensors, remote upgrade capabilities and web user-interface as
AirTight's on site product, SpectraGuard Enterprise. Pricing for the
service starts as low as $30 per month including hardware. Customers, who
are referred from Qualys and sign up for AirTight's wireless PCI scanning
service, will receive free wireless scanning for PCI compliance from
AirTight through the end of this year.
"As the PCI DSS 1.2 standard became more stringent and included more
technologies, an ecosystem which allowed customers to access those
technologies and automate processes from one interface became a logical
next step," said David King, Chairman and CEO of AirTight. "Integrating
AirTight's wireless PCI scanning and reporting into QualysGuard was a
natural step in our partnership with Qualys. From a single QualysGuard PCI
console, customers now have easy access to best-in-class security solutions
that will allow them to meet the compliance requirements of PCI DSS,
including the standards that specifically apply to wireless."
"Airtight was one of our design partners helping us develop and bring to
market PCI Connect and we thank them for that," said Philippe Courtot,
Chairman and CEO of Qualys. "Security has become a very complex and challenging business and combating
malware now demands a much greater cooperation between vendors as no one
vendor can do it all, no matter how big they are."
